TBS Grant Writing Workshop (GWW) Series registration is now open for the 2021-2022 cycle.


Georgetown-Howard Universities Center for Clinical and Translational Science (GHUCCTS) Translational Biomedical Science (TBS) Program is offering a 6 month Grant Writing Workshop Series for predoctoral students and postdoctoral fellows, and junior faculty who are actively working on individual fellowship, career development, and research project grant application that is due within the next 12 months.

The workshops are embedded within our TBS evening workshops series on Thursdays from 5:30-7:30 pm via Zoom.
Each participant will develop, revise, and prepare to submit an F-, K-, or R-series NIH grant application, or equivalent over the course of this virtual workshop with constructive input from facilitators and participants. Participants will hone their grant writing skills through attending lectures on best practices for individual grant components and by giving and receiving constructive feedback from their peers.

Requirements: Complete and upload your specific aim in the registration portal by the deadline. Participants much also participate in at least five of the six peer review discussion sessions, attend at a minimum of four out of five talks, and submit proposal drafts and feedback to the group by the deadline.
